Welcome to this website! Cobalt Designs is run by me, Laura Lee Gulledge, in the Charlottesville, Virginia area. Originally from Manassas, I graduated from James Madison University in 2001 with a B.A. in Studio Art and my certification for teaching art K-12. I went on to earn my M.A. in art education from JMU in 2002. Upon completing this, I had the opportunity to teach art and crafts in Louisa County Middle School in Mineral for two years. Finally, in June 2004 I decided to leave my job in order to pursue a long-held dream by starting my own business. My painting services include abstract and realistic murals as well as faux finishing. I service the Charlottesville area but I also cover Richmond and Northern Virginia.
